A QUARTERLY CONVERSATION PRESENTED BY
CARRAWAY COACHING COLLECTIVE

THE
COLLECTIVE
BOOK CONVERSATION

30 PEOPLE. ONE BOOK.
ONE POWERFUL CONVERSATION.

OUR FIRST CONVERSATION
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2026 | 7:00–8:30 PM ET | LIVE ON ZOOM

COMPLIMENTARY | LIMITED TO 30 PARTICIPANTS

THIS ISN'T YOUR ORDINARY BOOK CLUB.

Some books entertain us. Others challenge the way we think about ourselves, our choices, our relationships, and what's possible for our lives.

The Collective Book Conversation was created for the second kind.

Once each quarter, Carraway Coaching Collective brings together a curated group of thoughtful, growth-minded readers for a powerful 90-minute conversation centered around one extraordinary book.

We'll explore the themes, stories, lessons, and ideas within the book—but we won't stop there. We'll ask deeper questions. We'll listen to different perspectives. We'll reflect on how it all connects to our own lives.

This isn't a webinar. You won't spend 90 minutes listening to someone talk about a book you just read.

This is a conversation.

BOOK ONE

THE ALCHEMIST

PAULO COELHO

A story about the journey toward becoming who we're capable of becoming.

I chose The Alchemist for our first Collective Book Conversation very intentionally.

Before leaving my corporate leadership career, I gave copies of this book to 13 leaders I'd had the privilege of working alongside. I later shared it with every member of The Power Collective.

There is something about Santiago's journey that continues to resonate with me, the willingness to leave what's familiar, believe in possibilities you can't yet see, recognize the guides and mentors who appear along the way, and trust that the journey itself may be teaching you something.

It raises questions that extend far beyond the pages of the book:

What becomes possible when we allow ourselves to imagine something beyond the life we already know?

How do we recognize the people, opportunities, and lessons that appear along our journey?

And what might happen when we truly believe in ourselves—and are willing to act on that belief?

Those are the kinds of questions I want us to explore together.

— Coach Joe Carraway
